Dr Xu Xianting

Dr Xu Xianting is a Consultant Dermatologist and the Head of the Department of Dermatology, Wenzhou Central Hospital. He is also an Adjunct Professor of Wenzhou Medical University.

Dr Xu graduated from Wenzhou Medical University in 1997. He has been working in the Department of Dermatology, Wenzhou Central Hospital since graduation. Under years of guidance and training from his mentor Dr Chen Minde, the Head of the Department then, Dr Xu has become an experienced dermatologist and specializes in pigmentary disorders. Dr Xu is now an expert in the field of vitiligo treatment by using the combination therapy of traditional Chinese medicine and western medicine, which significantly improves the treatment efficacy, reduces the side effects of western medicine and reduces the psychosocial and economic burden of patients.

Dr Xu had his fellowship training in the Department of Pathology, Shanghai Skin Disease Hospital. Dr Xu has published more than 20 peer-reviewed national and international dermatology journals including one SCI paper in the American Journal of Dermatopathology. Dr Xu presented his work in numerous national and international dermatology conferences.

A strong believer in patient advocacy, Dr Xu has been dedicated to providing excellent patient care throughout his career. He is well respected by his patients and his colleagues.

Dr Xu is a member of Wenzhou Medical Association, Division of Dermatology. Dr Xu is in the expert panel of Wenzhou Medical Malpractice Identification Committee, Wenzhou Municipal Health Bureau and Wenzhou Science and Technology Bureau.
